Currently Listening Make Yourself By Incubus see related

I recently refound one of my ex favorite bands, Incubus. Take it for what you will, but I find Make Yourself to be one of my favorite rock albums, and also is there best album yet, and they will never write a better one (stuff like that happens when you have a amazing bassiest who leaves the band).

In actually news, my grandma has been in the hospital for the last week. She has a endless list of problems that showed up after she got there, and has been in intensive care the entire time. I left work a couple times to jet down because we had some scares, and it hurts pretty damn bad, but she is looking better and better now. She is still in ICU, but she has hope, and if anyone can pull it off, its a bad ass old school norweigan like her.

As far as me, I have been playing alot of music. I thought because of the situation I should stay away from writing because it would only be full of memories of now, but it has been competly different. Its been really up beat, and alot of funk. Its all some of my favorite stuff I have written, but its not exactly a style doesnt exactly fit into the idiom of the current band. In other words, I need another medium to get this music out. *cough* *cough*.

Well the Colts win the Superbowl. Its was a good game, and Id be lying if I told you I thought the game was going to end any different. Didn't think the Bears would get those two touchdowns right away, but didnt get them very far.

Mind yourself to not confuse me with a Colts fan. Though I am a Tony Dungy fan, being a very defense minded person, a team that focuses souly on running the score up by passing the ball deep over and over again just doesnt do it for me. Whats that Colts fan? They also like to run the ball? Your right, they really care about there running game, thats why they traded Edgerrin James last off season.

I hate the bears too though, I am a Vikings fan (yes its sad I still cheer for them year after year), I have to hate the bears. Would I even be considered a Minnesotan if I didnt?

For the first time in couple months I really rocked my set. I still practice it, but today I rocked its world. It felt really really good. I played for about 3 hours and only stopped because I had to work. Dont get me wrong, I love playing bass, but nothing in the world compares to laying down a smooth groove.

Other then that, my new/old job starts soon. Didnt get a raise at the pit that is angenos, so back to the 9-5 at the old DQ. Dont think I will ever completly quite there, but I am trying.

Other then that school is falling into place, only waiting to see how my government grants work out. Imagine that, waiting for the government, never EVER thought I would do that in my life. But, in the wise words of the ditsey blonde, whatever.
